Scarecrow Technologies brings a team of successful problem solvers bringing technology support to agriculture!  Founded by Still Waters Manufacturing, we have a long experience working with technology and an appreciation for the need to have technology that works at scale.   We operate like a family and seek to run our business the way our mom's would expect.   

Manufacturing in our roots:  Our team has spent over 20 years in high tech manufacturing.  In a society that has pushed so much manufacturing offshore we are working hard to do that work here in the USA.  We are very good at applying simple processes to develop and implement complex technologies.  As drones, robots and many other technologies continue to come into agriculture it is important to supplement those technologies with the necessary infrastructure.  Chemical mix systems, charging tools, trailers, and numerous other accessories are game changers that make the difference between neat technology and technology that is commercially viable.  In 2022, Jake and Kindra Church purchased a small manufacturing business located in rural Indiana.  Since then they have been building up that business serving critical infrastructure businesses in agriculture and industrial trucks.  Our team has a strong appreciation for developing simple jigs, fixtures and processes to support complex and technologically advanced problems.

We love agriculture!!  Make no mistake, we are not farmers and that is good for you.  Every farmer we know runs their business a little differently because their land and operation require it.  The fact is, you are the expert over the land that you are farming and it would be a mistake for us to come in and tell you how you should run your farm.  Our expertise is in understanding and applying technologies to solve problems.  In the case of drones, the equipment itself is very capable and can effectively process hundreds of acres per day; on the other hand, the process to setup, charge, refill, operate the drones in a way that can safely and efficiently get the job done takes some work.  That is where we excel!  As we look at other technologies the problem is really the same, designing processes that make the equipment effective, and we do it all the time!

Simplicity is best:  We cannot stress enough the value of simple solutions.  We have experience driving massive result improvements through the use of simple processes, tools, jigs and fixtures.  As new technologies are introduced to a process, they bring elegant and seemingly complex solutions.  That is ok!  But, along the way there become practical problems that must also be solved.  Often it is easy to overlook the simplest solutions when your eye lands on a complex and technical piece of equipment.  In other cases we are using a simple tool that doesn't quite get the job done and a little bit of further innovation would go a long way.  In our case we have time and again doubled, tripled or more efficiency, quality, output or other measures all the while using simple changes to processes, methods, tools, fixtures and jigs.
